Summary

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action-adventure title that follows in the footsteps of its predecessor. Players take on the role of Amicia as she battles against French Inquisition forces and massive swarms of rats spreading the Black Death. The gameplay remains largely consistent with the first game, but the combat system has been greatly enhanced. A skill progression system allows players to earn new abilities and skills over time. Those who favor stealth will gain techniques that improve their ability to move undetected, while combat-focused players will unlock advanced fighting techniques. The game’s environments are also more expansive, offering players more paths and strategies to move forward.

Storyline

After fleeing their ruined homeland, Amicia and Hugo journey far south to unfamiliar regions and bustling cities. There, they strive to build a new life and manage Hugo’s curse. But when Hugo’s abilities awaken again, death and devastation follow in a surge of ravenous rats. With no choice but to escape once more, the siblings turn their hopes to a prophesied island that might hold the answer to saving Hugo.
