Summary

A2 Racer II once more lets you speed along the famous Dutch A-2 highway. In addition, race routes have been laid out across three major Dutch cities: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Den Haag (The Hague). As in the original, you take part in underground street races. The game consists of six stages. The first occurs in Amsterdam, the second along the A-2 heading toward Den Haag, the third within Den Haag itself, the fourth on the road to Rotterdam, the fifth in Rotterdam, and the final one from Rotterdam past Utrecht back to Amsterdam. Each city has been meticulously recreated using a brand new and enhanced 3D engine. The challenge is heightened by the police, who attempt to stop you by erecting roadblocks or forcing you off the road. Every time you're caught, you receive a ticket and lose time. Collecting a third ticket will eliminate you from the race. While the game doesn't feature a visible damage system, crashing too hard will also result in your elimination.
