Storyline
The player begins the game arriving at Oaklore Keep as it is being attacked by an undead army commanded by Sepulchure, the ruler of the world's forces of Evil. Sepulchure moves toward Swordhaven, the capital city and home of King Alteon the Good. Drakath, the Champion of Chaos, suddenly appears and assaults both of them, twisting their nature. Sepulchure boasts that death cannot touch him, but Drakath pulls out his core and shatters it, ending his reign; Sepulchure's daughter cries out from her airborne fortress. Drakath obliterates the fortress, declares the end of the Age of Good and Evil, and brings about the Age of Chaos.
