Air Combat

Summary

The inaugural title in the Ace Combat series. A combat flight simulator where you take on the role of a mercenary pilot selling your aerial combat expertise to various corporations and governments to earn money for weapons and upgrades. The game features a sequence of linear missions, along with a two-player split-screen deathmatch mode and additional content such as hidden aircraft, mini-games, and more.

Storyline

You take on the role of a freelance mercenary contracted by global governments to target terrorists. The challenges increase as you progress, but the rewards for completing each mission are well worth the effort. Along the way, you can buy more aircraft and weapons, and even recruit wingmen to help ease the difficulty.
