Summary
Akuji the Demon is a 2D Metroidvania-style platformer. The main character is Akuji, a formidable pink vampire demon who was bested by a hero and stripped of his abilities. Imprisoned in a shadowy maze, he now seeks vengeance. Akuji's mission is to recover the scattered skulls. To do this, he must navigate the labyrinth and reclaim his lost powers, such as running, using fire, and performing longer jumps. As he unlocks each ability, new sections of the game open up, including areas he has already explored. Throughout his journey, he must evade numerous hazards and battle a variety of bosses.
