Alcahest

Summary

Alcahest is an action RPG with a top-down viewpoint that resembles The Legend of Zelda in gameplay. The game consists of 8 stages, each advanced by collecting key items that assist the hero, Alen, in his journey, culminating in a boss fight. Following certain boss encounters, the player unlocks the powers of one of the four elemental Guardians. Throughout his adventure, Alen will also meet five companions who join him at specific points in various levels: the young wizard Garstein, the princess Elikshil, the knight Sirius, the android Magna, and the shapeshifting dragon goddess Nevis. While the player cannot directly control them, these allies will strike and perform special abilities when the designated button is pressed.
