Summary
American Idol is a music-focused rhythm-action game where you design, customize, and coach a contestant through the competition. After personalizing and preparing your performer, you'll guide them through auditions, preliminary rounds, and ultimately aim for the championship finale. Quick reflexes are essential as you press the correct button combinations in sync with on-screen prompts, helping your contestant deliver a harmonious performance and dance in time with the music. Miss the timing and your voice weakens, falling out of tune, causing the judges—and later the audience—to become disapproving.
