Andre Agassi Tennis

Summary
Featuring the American player who captivated the tennis world in the early 90s with his "Image is everything" style—complete with long hair, earrings, and bold shirts—Andre Agassi Tennis includes eight playable characters (both male and female, with only Agassi being real), each rated for movement speed and performance in serve, backhand, and forehand accuracy and power. The game offers all standard tennis moves: smashes, passing shots, volleys, and a variety of backhand and forehand techniques. However, unlike other titles, precise positioning and timing are essential to prevent mishits, such as swinging at nothing, sending the ball out of bounds, or the more embarrassing option of letting it hit you in the head. Three court types are available: Grass, Clay, and Indoor (Sega versions add a fourth, Hard), though the distinctions between them are subtle. Game modes vary by version, with the 16-bit editions featuring a "Skins" mode where each point earned depends on how many times the ball is struck, with cash rewards based on that count.
Storyline
The player can choose to play in career mode exhibition mode or practice mode where they can learn how to properly hit and receive tennis balls to ensure success on the court. In career mode the player travels to tennis courts worldwide and competes in tournaments where winning leads to earning money. After conquering all the tournaments the player faces Mr. Andre Agassi in a final showdown to decide who is the greatest tennis player in the world. All other opponents are generic except for him.
