Summary

Storyline

In a distant land lives a courageous young girl named Anna, who enjoys a quiet life in the forest with her grandfather. But when he falls mysteriously ill, Anna sets out on a mission to find a cure. What she discovers is a world far stranger and more perilous than she ever imagined. Her journey is abruptly halted when the witch Winfriede captures her, intending to use Anna in a twisted experiment. The experiment works—Anna gains powerful telekinetic abilities—but it also marks the beginning of the end for Winfriede’s plans. With the aid of Ben, a boy transformed into a teddy bear, and her newfound, unstable powers, Anna breaks free from her prison. Now joined by Ben and armed with her extraordinary gift, Anna embarks on a perilous journey through the eerie landscapes of Grimm’s fairy tales and European folklore. Witches, spirits, trolls, and cursed princesses all cross her path—whether she must rescue them or outwit them, each plays a role in her quest to heal her grandfather. And as the wicked rarely rest, Winfriede is relentless, hot on Anna’s trail, determined to reclaim her prized experiment at all costs.
