Arabian Nights is a 3D action-adventure arcade video game released in 2001 for Microsoft Windows. It was published by Visiware and Wanadoo. The game is inspired by the classic collection of stories, One Thousand and One Nights.
Arabian Nights is akin to Prince of Persia 3D, blending action and adventure in a 3D setting. The game is divided into 7 Episodes, each structured like a "serial" with its own unique start and finish. You take on the role of Ali, who must locate and save the Sultan’s five lovely daughters (quintuplets), who have vanished on the night of their 21st birthday. As Ali, you'll face a range of enemies and can choose your method of attack—whether by casting one of four magical spells, performing over 30 hand-to-hand moves using your hands and feet, slicing with your scimitar, or hurling knives and other weapons. You can also walk, run, sprint, jump, climb ladders and ropes, balance on a tightrope, read scrolls and inscriptions, ride a magic carpet, move objects, play the flute, and pick up and use items from your inventory. Engage with more than 60 non-player characters across diverse settings such as towns and districts, the Palace, cemeteries, tombs, and gardens.
