Astérix: Caesar's Challenge

Summary

Caesar dares our unstoppable Gauls to roam freely through the Roman Empire. Such an insult is sure to ignite the fire in every true Gaul: following the Tour of Gaul, now comes the Tour of the Roman Empire. The journey is guided by the wise druid Getafix, and each player picks a character from a lineup that includes Asterix, Obelix, Impedimenta, Panacea, Justforkix, and Geriatrix. Asterix: Caesar’s Challenge is a board game for 1 to 4 players. The objective is to gather the necessary number of souvenirs from various regions and make it back to the village before time expires. If no player succeeds in completing the mission, Caesar will emerge victorious.

Storyline

It is the year 50 B.C. The entire region of Gaul has fallen under Roman control. Every part of it? Not quite! A small village, home to brave and determined Gauls, continues to defy the conquerors... And Julius Caesar is not amused. Not in the least. He has made it his mission to prevent our friends from escaping their village. Answer Caesar's challenge!
