Atlantis no Nazo

Summary

Atlantis no Nazo is a side-scrolling platform video game created and published by Sunsoft, released for the Family Computer in 1986. The game takes place in the legendary land of Atlantis. Players take on the role of Wynn, an amateur adventurer tasked with rescuing his captured master from the final level.

Storyline

A few years ago, a massive island emerged from the southern Atlantic Ocean as a result of sudden geological changes. Many adventurers journeyed to the island in search of answers, but none ever returned. The island came to be known as Atlantis, and it was avoided out of fear and uncertainty. The story follows Wynn, a young and inexperienced adventurer who sets out for Atlantis after discovering that his mentor vanished there more than six months ago. Equipped with special dynamite created by his master, Wynn travels alone to confront a ruthless emperor determined to restore a long-lost empire.
