Summary

Back to the Future Part II & III is the follow-up to the original Back to the Future game and is inspired by the second and third movies in the beloved Back to the Future film series. It was created by Beam Software for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Upon its release, the game was met with largely negative feedback, with many players criticizing its short duration and the absence of a save function.

Storyline

The game adapts the storyline of the films, with the player taking control of Marty as he journeys to 2015 to stop his future son from committing a crime, then going back in time to fix the damage caused by Biff's malicious actions, which drastically changed the future. After part II concludes, Marty is left stranded in 1955 and gets a message from Doc sent from 1885 requesting rescue. A significant portion of the story also revolves around Marty locating and returning objects to where they belong.
