Summary

Backyard Soccer is the first title in the Backyard Sports Soccer series. The gameplay is straightforward. You can choose from 30 different kids to build your team, and create custom-colored squads to make them your own. The game offers two main modes: Single, where you play a quick match, and Season, which lets you compete over an extended period against various custom teams, some of which are quite challenging. A practice mode is also included to help you get comfortable with the kicking mechanics and to show you what a penalty situation feels like. All standard soccer rules, including fouls and hat tricks, are part of the game. When selecting players for your team, it’s important to consider their skill levels—don’t just choose a kid because they look cool.
