Summary

Using the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rulebook, *Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II* delivers four all-new acts of fast-paced combat and spellcasting action. More monster varieties will now take part in real-time battles, viewed from the same top-down perspective as the original title. Each chosen character can use experience earned in battle to unlock new feats and stronger abilities as the game progresses. A new crafting system allows players to forge magical weapons and armor by gathering raw materials discovered throughout their journey. As in the first game, two heroes can team up in co-op play on a single screen, with each character offering unique abilities and feats. Gear can be found or bought from local vendors using gold obtained from defeated enemies or quest rewards. *Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II* also includes hidden locations, secret characters, and hundreds of collectible items such as potions, scrolls, and wands. Additionally, the game introduces a branching narrative that lets players decide their next course of action in the pursuit of glory and riches.

Storyline

As the follow-up to the acclaimed 2002 action role-playing title set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, this game continues directly from where its predecessor ended. The enigmatic vanishing of the Onyx Tower and the demise of Eldrith the Betrayer have left the valiant heroes stranded in an unfamiliar realm. Meanwhile, the coastal town of Baldur's Gate remains deeply entangled in a sinister scheme to dominate the Forgotten Realms. Five全新 character classes pledge to thwart the forces behind this emerging alliance, regardless of the price.
