Summary
A sharp-tongued bard finds herself imprisoned and banished to a forgotten castle, expecting to fall prey to a ravenous, blood-hungry vampire. Instead, she meets Lucius, a vampire who isn't starving—he's simply dying of boredom. With each midnight ballad, she might manage to prolong her life, one song at a time.
