Summary

Barbie Magic Genie Bottle is a computer game that comes with a custom-designed input device — a real genie bottle that connects to a Windows PC through a standard 15-pin joystick port. The bottle is used to trigger special in-game actions and is essential to the overall gameplay experience. Barbie takes the player to a faraway world where they will help her on her quest. The goal is to travel to five distinct lands and gather five unique gems. To obtain each gem, the player must solve a puzzle, which involves finding five scattered puzzle pieces hidden throughout the land. The gameplay features first-person 3D exploration on foot and by flying carpet, which lifts the player to elevated areas. Barbie accompanies the player throughout, offering helpful guidance. Storyline

You come into possession of a beautifully crafted bottle and take it to an antique shop for evaluation. The shop owner tells you the bottle is magical and all you have to do is rub it. Moments later, Barbie appears from the bottle in the form of a genie and explains her predicament—an evil genie working for a wicked sultan stole her powers. She asks for your help to reclaim her magic and put an end to the sultan and his sinister genie.
