Barbie: Super Model

Summary

Help Barbie become a top fashion model in this exciting arcade game filled with a variety of fun activities to take part in. In each level, Barbie moves from left to right with automatic scrolling. She has a base speed and can accelerate as needed. She must dodge moving obstacles by adjusting her vertical position and managing her speed. If she collides with an obstacle, she loses a life and the game ends when all lives are gone. Along the way, she must collect items that give bonus points and additional lives. One special item is the camera, which triggers a magazine cover photo session. A cover featuring Barbie in an outfit matching the level’s theme is displayed. You then head to her dressing room to dress her in a matching look. You also control the colors of three different outfit elements and must match them correctly. Points are awarded for each accurate match. When you reach the right edge of the level, you enter a runway practice. This includes four marked spots on the runway floor, each indicating which button to press at that point. Barbie then returns through the level from right to left. During this trip, there's a handbag to collect, which leads to another magazine cover. You then go to a makeup mirror where you must match Barbie’s hairstyle, earrings, eyeshadow, and lip and nail colors to the cover. Points are given for each correct match. When you reach the left side of the level, you perform the runway walk you practiced earlier. You earn points for executing the correct move at each station. Barbie then moves on to the next level. There are four in total: Barbie driving down the street, skating on the beach, walking through a ski resort, and strolling through the park.
