At a press event hosted by Bruce Wayne to publicly oppose the creation of Arkham City, TYGER mercenaries seize him and lock him inside the facility. Hugo Strange reveals his awareness of Wayne's secret identity as Batman before turning him over to the prison's dangerous inmates. As Strange moves forward with "Protocol 10," Wayne receives his gear via airdrop from Alfred Pennyworth, enabling him to transform into Batman. He first rescues Catwoman from an execution ordered by Two-Face, who seeks to gain notoriety by killing her. After Joker tries to assassinate Catwoman, Batman follows the trail to his base in the Sionis Steelmill, suspecting Joker might hold the key to uncovering the truth about Protocol 10.
