In BEAST WARS, you traverse the planet’s surface, exploring various zones as you seek to eliminate all enemies in your way. The game features an advanced auto-targeting system that automatically locks onto nearby foes, making combat more direct. But don't be fooled—things aren't that simple, as you'll need to avoid enemy fire while taking them down. At some point, your character will deplete his Energon and must switch to Beast mode to refuel. In this form, you can't attack, so your only goal is to locate power-ups that replenish your energy. BEAST WARS includes 10 unique Transformers, each with distinct abilities. You’ll also engage in battles across four diverse environments, each populated by different enemies. With 24 main missions and eight additional bonus challenges, there's more than enough content to keep you playing.
The Maximals and I must stop Megatron and his Predacon forces before they bring about our destruction! While freedom is a right of all thinking beings, to safeguard the greater good, we must rid the Galaxy of these wicked Predacon creatures! It won't be easy... but then again, nothing truly valuable ever is! The iconic Transformers saga is evolving once more. This time, battle-ready robots are combined with animals and insects, as the heroes and villains take on new forms. In the Beast Wars game, a Maximal ship pursues a Predacon vessel through a time rift—only for both to crash-land on a planet resembling Earth during the age of the dinosaurs. Upon arrival, the Predacons seize a golden disk containing the location of a powerful Energon source, which could reignite an intergalactic war with the Maximals. Both the Maximals and Predacons recognize that Energon’s power is so immense that prolonged exposure threatens their mechanical forms. To survive in this new world, each faction turns to bio-genetic engineering, merging their robotic bodies with the planet’s native wildlife. The result is fierce creatures that can transform into powerful robot warriors, clashing in a high-stakes battle for dominance. Set even farther in the future than the TV series, the Maximals and Predacons have established separate territories across the planet, building bases and armies to wage their ongoing war.
