Summary

Detana!! TwinBee is a vertically scrolling shooter that follows the same style introduced in the original TwinBee game. In it, players take on the roles of Light and Pastel, piloting TwinBee and WinBee through seven stages to battle the invading forces of the villainous alien Iva and rescue planet Meru. The game was later re-released on PlayStation and Saturn as part of the Detana TwinBee Yahho! Deluxe Pack, on PlayStation Portable in TwinBee Portable, and on Xbox 360 and PC via the Game Room service.

Storyline

Several years after the events of the original TwinBee, TwinBee and WinBee are enjoying a peaceful time on their island when they suddenly pick up an SOS signal from the faraway planet Meru. The distress call carries a plea from Queen Melora, who begs for help to save her world from the invading army of the malevolent alien Iva. Determined to lend a hand, TwinBee and his companions prepare to launch into space to confront Iva's forces and rescue Planet Meru.
