Bionicle: The Game, also referred to as Lego Bionicle and labeled on its cover simply as Bionicle, is an action-adventure video game launched in 2003. It draws from elements of the film Bionicle: Mask of Light and other segments of the Bionicle narrative. Originally, the game was intended to allow players to take control of each Toa, Toa Nuva, and the Toa of Light, but due to time constraints, large portions of the game were cut. Nevertheless, all the characters can be played in the Game Boy Advance edition. The Mac OS X version was published by Feral Interactive.
Embark on a heroic journey as the Toa, Toa Nuva, and ultimately the 7th Toa, as you traverse the six distinct elementally-inspired regions of Mata Nui—a land of towering peaks, vast lakes, and powerful volcanoes. Your mission is to rescue the scattered Matoran and shatter the dark curse unleashed by the sinister Makuta. Along the way, you'll encounter peril not only from Makuta's wicked followers but also from the treacherous natural dangers of the islands, such as falling boulders, fierce jungle winds, sharp icicles, and deadly lava flows. Select from one of the six Toa characters to start your quest, and harness their unique elemental abilities to unleash powerful energy attacks and overcome your foes.
