Summary
It's the year 2060, and the sprawling metropolis of Neo Tokyo is teeming with gangsters. The police are powerless as the criminals form tightly organized groups vying for control of the entire city. Only freelance bounty hunters—courageous and daring individuals willing to take on dangerous jobs for the right price—dare to challenge the underworld of Neo Tokyo. You take on the role of Sara Fitzgerald, one of these bounty hunters. The game unfolds like a digital novel, featuring still images of real actors set against fitting mystery and sci-fi backdrops. You shape the story by making choices for Sara as she navigates the game world. With multiple branching paths, your decisions ultimately determine the "detective rank" you earn by the end.
