Summary
Bucky O'Hare takes on the role of the eponymous rabbit, serving as the captain of the spaceship Righteous Indignation, which defends the alternate universe known as the Aniverse. His crew—Duck Dead-Eye, Cat Jenny, Android Blinky, and Human Willy—are captured by the Toad Air Marshall. The first four stages of the game occur on the Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow Planets, where each crew member is held. The player begins by controlling Bucky, and once each crew member is rescued, they become playable characters with unique abilities and weapons. After all the crew is freed, the Toad Air Marshall captures the Righteous Indignation once more, this time aboard the Magnum Tanker. The rest of the game focuses on the crew rescuing one another, destroying the Magnum Tanker, and making their escape.
