Summary
Cauliflower Power is a stealth and puzzle game designed for the TIC-80 fantasy console. In the game, players strategically move water buckets to specific locations to help cauliflower plants flourish, all while evading enemy guards and navigating the complexities of the level design. It was created as a submission for Ludum Dare 41.
Storyline
For centuries, humankind has recognized the remarkable worth of the cauliflower plant—be it for nourishment, healing, or beauty. A few even insisted it could repel evil spirits, sharpen the mind, or serve as a fine drink if prepared correctly. But it wasn’t until 2027 that Dr. P. Golabek of CDDA Labs, in a moment of sudden clarity, uncovered the true power buried within the neglected part of his dinner. Beneath the surface of that boiled brassica oleracea curd lay secrets yet to be revealed. The revelation stirred controversy, and instead of ushering in a new era of health and abundance, the miraculous plant—and many unrelated members of the brassicaceae family—were banned. Now is the time to reverse this injustice and let the cauliflower flourish freely! Welcome to the Cauliflower Research Liberation Front, comrade!
