Summary
This entry in the series is set in the world of Fa'diel, on the island of Illusia, where the legendary Tree of Mana rises at the island's heart. Long ago, a catastrophic event known as the "great disaster" occurred at the base of the Mana Tree, claiming countless lives. In that time of crisis, a courageous young boy and girl wielded the Sword of Mana to prevent total destruction. Now, many years later, a group of orphans embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind the tragedy that took so much from them. To complete the game, the player must travel across the five continents of Fa'diel—Jadd, Topple, Wendell, Ishe, and Lorimar—using the "Flammie Drum" to ride Flammie between locations.
Storyline
Defend the Mana Tree — from within! Wield sword, flail, bow, and hammer as you fight against the darkness poisoning the soul of Mana. Select from more than 180 magical gems to enhance your characters with unique skills and powers for thrilling combat. Invite up to three friends to join your quest in a local wireless game — get support when you need it, or team up for cooperative exploration!
