Summary
The game features high-speed driving across American roads at around 200 miles (320 km) per hour, covering the massive distance from Boston to Los Angeles—nearly 2,990 miles (4,810 km) in total. Each player aims for personal triumph by racing against eight AI opponents as they speed through the United States. However, the drivers have made-up names and are not modeled after any Formula One or NASCAR Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup Series) drivers from that time. If the game followed real-world physics, it would take at least fourteen days to make the journey from Boston to Los Angeles, assuming only fuel stops and no rest.
