Summary
Cosmic Wars (コズミックウォーズ Kozumikku Wōzu?) is a turn-based strategy video game developed by Konami in 1989, featuring characters and conflicts from the popular Gradius series. It was released exclusively in Japan. The game was followed by a sequel in 1997 titled Paro Wars, which is the Parodius version of this title. In Cosmic Wars, players command an army made up of Gradius characters, including Vic Vipers and Big Cores, to fight enemies across different star systems. Players can choose to lead either the Bacterion Empire or the Gradius forces. The game offers a wide variety of unit types, from small fighters to massive capital ships.
