Summary
Cossacks 3 is the third major installment in the enduring historical real-time strategy franchise. This title is presented as a reimagining of the original games' core ideas, blending various gameplay components such as constructing bases, collecting resources, producing materials, managing a technology tree and a complete economic system, as well as large-scale 3D battles featuring up to 10,000 units on one battlefield, reminiscent of the Total War series. Combat features include limited ammunition, terrain effects, and the strategic use of formations. Set in the 17th and 18th centuries, the game includes twelve playable nations, 70 distinct unit types, over 140 historically accurate buildings, and 100 research options. Fights take place both on land and at sea, with a full fleet of ships. The single-player mode offers five campaigns, and multiplayer supports up to eight players on a single map. Players can also use procedurally generated maps to challenge AI opponents.
