Summary

CrossfireX offers a high-octane first-person shooter experience, placing players in the middle of a vast international conflict between two of the world’s most powerful private military groups: Global Risk, composed of elite veterans from major military forces who utilize cutting-edge technology to uphold order and security; and Black List, made up of battle-hardened mercenaries skilled in guerrilla warfare who seek to dismantle authoritarian regimes in pursuit of freedom. Pick your allegiance and carry out mission-based objectives in a range of traditional and creative game modes, all enhanced by polished gameplay and stunning cinematic visuals.

Storyline

The initial campaign centers on a squad of Global Risk Soldiers deployed to the nation of Azkharzia with the mission of locating and eliminating Black List officer Alexander Steiner. The team, commanded by Major Cavanaugh, includes Captain Hall, Specialist Randall, and Private First Class Moralez. They launch an attack on an abandoned hotel where Steiner is believed to be hiding, only to discover they’ve killed a body double instead. Though the team manages to escape the hotel, Cavanaugh and Hall realize they were ambushed, as Black List had anticipated their every move. Shortly after, Cavanaugh is wounded, and Hall is rendered unconscious by an unknown attacker. While out cold, Hall experiences a disturbing vision of his own home from a stranger’s perspective. He is eventually roused by Moralez and assumes leadership of the squad.
