Summary
"Even if it costs me my life—there is someone I must protect." It is believed that an ancient civilization once thrived on this planet, more advanced than any that followed. This flourishing society was built upon the power of "magic," a force bestowed by the spirits. But when the spirits vanished, the civilization quickly crumbled and was ultimately lost to time. Many have shown interest in this forgotten era. The main character, Hyde, journeys across the world in search of the remnants of this bygone age. Along the way, he arrives in the town of Arville, where he hears whispers of ancient ruins discovered in a nearby cave. Intrigued, Hyde investigates and encounters a girl who holds the key to uncovering the truth. Development of the game spanned over two years, offering a vast array of content, including approximately 800 different items and challenge modes where enemy strength is doubled or even tripled, ensuring a high level of replayability. Unlike the original PC (Windows) version, which was released nearly two years prior, the Dreamcast version does not include any adult content. A few years later, the DVD PG Edition was released, which reintroduced adult content.
