Summary

A detective who travels through time must uncover the truth behind his wife’s murder before it ever happens. By using his supernatural ability to "dive" into the past through touchstone artifacts known as "mementos," he journeys into the world of the living to solve the mystery of her death.

Storyline

This is the tale of a man marked by an unusual destiny. His name is David Young—once a narcotics officer with the Boston PD, now a private investigator. He has a supernatural gift: the ability to "dive" into the past by touching objects left behind, known as "mementos." Two years ago, Young's wife was murdered by an unidentified attacker. In her final moments, she whispered to him, "Look for D." From that point on, the search for "D" consumed Young's life—nothing else mattered. Then, a new case arrives that may be connected to "D." The case centers on a courier for a drug called "Real Blood," who disappeared after agreeing to testify against a notorious drug lord known only as "D." He vanished without a trace while being transported to Boston aboard a plane. Tracking down the missing courier could reveal the true identity of "D." If Young can obtain a memento that allows him to return to that crucial day, perhaps he can finally alter the course of his fate. And so, David Young plunges into the mystery of the vanished courier, as the gears of destiny begin to turn once again...
