Summary

Daikatana is a first-person action role-playing game created by Ion Storm. It was released for Windows by Eidos Interactive and for the Nintendo 64 by Kemco. In the game, players take on the role of a master swordsman who journeys through different eras, wielding the Daikatana, a mighty blade whose power is linked to the world's destiny.

Storyline

In the year 2455 A.D., Kage Hishima harnessed the mystical might of the Daikatana, the most formidable sword ever created, to manipulate time and crown himself as Earth's ultimate sovereign. You are Hiro Miyamoto, one of the few who still recall the truth of what transpired. The responsibility of defending the world—your version of it—now rests on your shoulders. You're not alone; your companions, Superfly Johnson and Mikiko Ebihara, stand with you every step of the way. To succeed, you must collect powerful weapons, conquer every challenge, uncover cleverly hidden secrets, and fight through a staggering variety of enemies. Use your abilities and allies wisely, because you'll need every advantage available.
