Dance Factory lets you design a choreographed routine for any CD in your music library. Using a spectral analysis system, the game automatically creates a dance sequence for each track, matching the average length of the song. The game includes five officially licensed songs, from Tim McGraw's "I Like It, I Love It" to the Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha," a tribute to relationship troublemakers. Three difficulty levels—easy, normal, and pro—let you choose your challenge. The goal is to hit the arrows on the dance pad at just the right moment. As you dance, the game will tell you if your timing was off, decent, or perfect. Improving your accuracy unlocks special combo moves, and filling the rank meter boosts your score while changing the animated background visuals. Dance Factory offers five different game modes to keep both your body and mind active. In "Normal" mode, you dance to a single song, while "Endurance" mode pushes you to complete an entire album. "Fitness" mode focuses on calorie burn rather than scoring, tracking how many calories you burn as you dance. "Record" mode lets you save your custom routines for future use, and "EyeToy Camera" mode adds a visual element by showing your movements on screen, with two additional hand-based steps to perform. "Creature" mode introduces bebop beasts hidden in music CDs, which dance alongside you. Earn credits to customize your creature with accessories like sunglasses, jewelry, and portable radios. Take on friends in a multiplayer dance battle supporting up to 16 players.
