Summary

Shattered Lands is the first entry in a series of computer role-playing games set within the highly praised AD&D 2nd Edition DARK SUN universe. The game starts with you as a gladiator preparing to battle in King Tectuktitlay’s Arena in Draj. To progress, you must survive that initial fight and many more, ultimately striving to break free from the Slave Pens.

Storyline

The Dark Sun world of Athas is a harsh and desolate expanse, a barren land where only a few cities remain, each controlled by ancient sorcerer-kings who have ruled for centuries. Your group starts as slaves in the city of Draj, condemned to fight as gladiators in the deadly Arena. To survive, you must break free and venture into the unforgiving wilds, unite with other escaped slaves, and build a rebellion strong enough to challenge the sorcerer-king's oppressive forces.
