Summary

Dead Nation is a top-down shooter video game for PlayStation 3, created by Finnish game studio Housemarque. It launched on November 30, 2010, in North America and December 1, 2010, in Europe. As players eliminate zombies, they earn score multipliers and cash. The cash can be spent to buy and enhance weapons at checkpoints, while multipliers boost scoring potential. Taking damage causes players to lose both multipliers and health.

Storyline

Dead Nation is set in a fictional world overrun by a zombie apocalypse. Players can choose to control either a male or female character as they battle various kinds of zombies. The game features ten levels where players progress by fighting through hordes, using weapon shops to upgrade their gear and switch armor. Throughout the levels, players can discover boxes containing ammunition, multipliers, money, or armor, and also search car trunks for cash. However, if a car explodes before it's looted, the contents are lost. Occasionally, players are confined to specific areas where they must survive until a particular objective is met, such as waiting for an elevator while fending off zombies or eliminating all enemies in the vicinity.
