Summary
The core gameplay is experienced in first-person within the facility. Trams link the labyrinthine residential sections to a few manned turrets located outside. You'll alternate between defending against waves of enemy fighters in the turrets and exploring the lower levels for card keys during lulls in the action.
Another key element is the "Virtual Operating System," which manages all primary base operations. Through this interface, you can repair damage caused by attacks, track intruders, and deploy robot sentries to protect critical areas. As you collect more access keys, the system becomes more efficient, allowing you to control turrets remotely or set them to auto-attack with a high success rate.
As your automated defenses improve, you'll have more time to explore the base in search of keys. Your final objective is to locate the clearance needed to trigger the base's self-destruct sequence, protect your escape shuttle, and survive long enough to make your escape.
