Delta Wing
Summary
Delta Wing is a flight simulation game developed by Creative Sparks and released in 1984. It was later included in Mastertronic's M.A.D. software series. The game was also featured on a covertape distributed with Issue 69 of Crash magazine, released in October 1989. The action is presented from a first-person viewpoint, with the aircraft's controls and cockpit displayed at the bottom of the screen. Once players become familiar with the controls, they can perform takeoffs, landings, and bombing raids on enemy positions. Hostile aircraft will attempt to track and attack the player, who can defend themselves using the plane’s onboard weapons. A map screen is available to display the locations of friendly bases for refueling, enemy bases, and enemy aircraft.
