Summary

Kigantou Hihou Densetsu (Eng. "The Legend of Treasure on a Strange Rock Island") is a top-down adventure game set in the Meitantei Conan universe, starring Edogawa Conan, whose real name is Kudou Shin'ichi, as he investigates a mystery on the enigmatic Kigantou Island. While Conan is the main playable character, the game also allows players to take control of other key figures, including Ran, Shin'ichi's girlfriend, her father Kogoro, a detective who owes his success to Conan, Ran's high school friend Sonoko, and Conan's classmates Mitsuhiko, Ayumi, and Genta. Depending on which character you choose to play as, different parts of the island may become accessible or restricted, and interactions with other characters can change, offering varied dialogue and responses. The adventure begins when the Togawa sisters, Satomi and Miki, receive a mysterious golden statue. Orphaned at a young age and left with unanswered questions about their parents' fate, they receive a letter from a wealthy individual residing on an island in the western Japan Sea. The letter hints that the statue is connected to the island, leading the sisters to wonder if the sender might be a relative. When Conan and his friends learn of the sisters' request, they decide to assist in uncovering the truth behind their family's past and the statue's origins. They set sail for the remote island, which is only accessible by ship twice a week. Upon arrival, they notice the island's peculiar shape and the strange behavior of its villagers, hinting at a hidden history involving the island's affluent family. Just as they begin to explore, a murder takes place in front of a grand Western-style mansion, with the killer fleeing the scene. It falls to Conan to piece together the clues, solve the mystery, and bring the murderer to justice—because, as he always says, the truth is one and only one.
