Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza

Summary

This first-person shooter game is set in the storyline of the original Die Hard movie. Players assume the role of John McClane as he works to thwart a terrorist takeover of Nakatomi Plaza. The game's levels are modeled after the film's actual sets, with key action sequences from the movie faithfully recreated. The game builds upon the movie's narrative, introducing new missions that weren't in the film, including guiding a SWAT team through the building or rescuing hostages trapped on different floors.

Storyline

On Christmas Eve, New York City police officer John McClane, played by Bruce Willis, travels to reconnect with his estranged wife, Bonnie Bedelia, and their two daughters. He accompanies her to a holiday gathering at the headquarters of the Japanese-owned company where she works. However, the celebration is abruptly halted when a band of terrorists seizes control of the luxurious high-rise and all its occupants. McClane quickly understands that he is the only one capable of rescuing the hostages.
