Summary

Set in the Digimon Data Squad universe, the game centers on the Seven Great Demon Lords. Players will take control of the four main Saver characters—Marcus Damon, Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda, and Keenan Crier—along with their Digimon companions. The visuals feature a cel-shaded style, while the combat system mirrors that of the Japanese-exclusive arcade game Battle Terminal. The title is categorized under a unique "special genre" known as a "Dramatic/Innovative RPG," meaning that your treatment of your Digimon partner has a direct impact on their development. Evolution mechanics resemble those of Digimon World, where how you nurture your Digimon influences the form it digivolves into. In Digimon World Data Squad, a new evolution system called the Galactica Evolution System determines which Digimon your partner will become. The game also introduces brand-new, original characters exclusive to Digimon World Data Squad, who won't appear in any other Digimon Data Squad media.
