Storyline

Dishonored takes place in Dunwall, a gritty industrial whaling metropolis where bizarre steampunk machinery and supernatural elements intertwine in the darkness. You were once the trusted protector of the cherished Empress. After being falsely accused of her murder, you transform into a feared assassin, recognized only by the eerie mask that now defines you. In a time of turmoil, as the city grapples with a deadly plague and a corrupt regime wielding industrial might, mysterious powers begin to awaken within you—bestowing abilities no ordinary person could possess, but at a price.
