Disney's Darkwing Duck

Summary

Darkwing Duck is a side-scrolling platformer starring the eponymous hero from the Disney TV show. The game plays much like Duck Tales and shares several similarities with the Mega Man series. Darkwing starts with a gas gun as his primary weapon, and during his journey, he can collect special adapters that alter its abilities. He can also use his cape to bounce back certain enemy attacks. Players can switch weapons through a sub-menu screen.

Storyline

The city of St. Canard is under the grip of a mysterious crime surge. The intelligence force S.H.U.S.H. believes the shadowy group F.O.W.L. and their key agent Steelbeak are to blame. The masked hero Darkwing has earned many enemies in the underworld due to his previous acts of heroism, and now the whole city is suffering the consequences. As always, the brave duck is ready to brave the perilous alleys of St. Canard, confront his villains, and stop Steelbeak’s schemes.
