Summary
This is a card-building game where your deck represents your resources, victory points, and available actions. You begin with a modest hand of Estates and Coppers, but your goal is to transform it into a powerful collection filled with Gold, Provinces, and the thriving population of your kingdom.
Storyline
You are a monarch, just as your parents were before you, ruling a small, peaceful kingdom of rivers and evergreens. But unlike them, you have ambitions—dreams of a greater realm, more beautiful and bountiful, with more rivers and a richer diversity of trees. You seek a true Dominion! In every direction, fiefs, freeholds, and feodums sprawl—small parcels of land ruled by minor lords and teetering on the edge of chaos. You will bring order to these lands, uniting them under your banner. But beware—something in the air has inspired other rulers with the same vision. You must race to claim as much territory as you can, fending off rivals at every turn. To succeed, you'll need to recruit loyal followers, build essential structures, enhance your castle, and grow your treasury. While your parents might disapprove, your mother’s grandparents would be overjoyed.
