Summary
The BFG Edition offers improved visuals, enhanced audio with additional horror effects, a checkpoint save system, and compatibility with 3D displays and HMDs. It also comes with the earlier expansion Resurrection of Evil and a new single-player add-on titled The Lost Mission. In addition, the edition includes copies of the original Doom (the Ultimate Doom version featuring the add-on fourth episode, "Thy Flesh Consumed") and Doom II along with the expansion No Rest for the Living, which was previously available on the Xbox 360. The BFG Edition also introduces the option to use a flashlight while holding a weapon, in the form of an armor-mounted flashlight.
