Storyline

After days of brutal combat on Mars and in the depths of Hell, you've finally crushed the demonic hordes and halted their invasion. Despite being the sole survivor of the devastating carnage, you're celebrated as a hero. Surely, that means you're due some much-needed rest and relaxation? Not so fast if the demons have their way. Upon returning to Earth after your discharge, you step out of your landing pod into a world engulfed in flames and chaos—the demons have overrun your home. With the population either dead or twisted into grotesque mutations, it's up to you to do what you do best: tear through Hellspawn, halt the invasion, and save the planet. Armed with your reliable shotgun, chainsaw, and the mighty BFG 9000, you'll once again face down the terrors of Hell and find a way to reclaim Earth. But the battle isn't over. After you've handled this crisis, three more grueling campaigns await in the Master Levels for Doom II and Final Doom.
