Storyline

After countless battles on Mars and in the depths of Hell, you've finally vanquished the demonic hordes and thwarted their invasion. Despite being the sole survivor of the brutal carnage, you're celebrated as a hero. Surely, that means you're due some much-needed rest and relaxation? Not so fast if the demons have their way. Fresh off the battlefield and back on Earth, you step out of your landing pod into a world engulfed in flames and chaos—Hell has overrun your home planet. With all of humanity either dead or twisted into grotesque mutations, it's up to you to do what you do best: tear through demons, halt the invasion, and save the world. Armed with your reliable shotgun, chainsaw, and the mighty BFG 9000, you're once again thrust into battle against Hell's creatures and must find a way to reclaim Earth. But the nightmare isn't over. After you've cleared this mess, 20 more brutal levels await in the Master Levels for Doom II. With nowhere to run and a legion of demons, mutants, and the undead hot on your trail, there's only one thing left to do—strap on your armor, grab the nearest shotgun, and blast your way to survival!
