Summary

As the initial release, the Game Boy version of the game features a password-based save system to track the player's progress. The game includes seven floors where different items and pieces of Bitsy (Franky's girlfriend) are concealed. To reach new areas and retrieve more body parts and gear necessary to revive Bitsy, players must collect keys and special items.

Storyline

Franky, one of Dr. Von Frankenbone's many eerie inventions, has awoken to a shocking discovery—his beloved Bitsy is missing. Investigating the castle, he finds that the other sinister creations have captured Bitsy and scattered her pieces throughout the halls. Now, Franky must navigate through multiple levels to track down each fragment and restore her. While Franky can blast his way through many of the castle's monstrous inhabitants, he'll also need to avoid falling debris and leap over hidden trapdoors to survive. Power outlets will fully restore his health, and lamps will help illuminate the castle's shadowy depths.
