Summary

Dr. Franken II is a side-scrolling platform game that puts you in control of a Frankenstein-like character named Franky. Your objective is to gather various items across different levels to reconstruct something. To restore Franky’s health, you must locate the components needed to repair the electricity machine responsible for it. You’ll also travel to exotic locations such as Egypt and the ocean floor in search of fragments of Bitsy's golden tablet. Much like its predecessor, the game features numerous trap doors, monsters, and other challenges to overcome. Keys are required to unlock new sections of the game, and they can be found in the most distant corners of each level.

Storyline

It has been many years since Dr. Von Frankenbone's passing, and once again Franky is in serious trouble! The old Doctor's castle, where Franky once spent joyful times with his girlfriend Bitsy, is falling apart and in desperate need of fixing. To make matters worse, the power company has finally tracked him down and handed him a massive bill. Franky's only chance is to locate the Doctor's hidden treasure—a golden tablet featuring Bitsy's likeness, once famous across the land, now lost and scattered. Desperate times demand bold action! Franky has abandoned Von Frankenbone's Castle and taken refuge in the Doctor's secret Chateau. The villagers, terrified of an unchecked monster, have locked him inside. Now it's up to you, as Franky, to explore the Chateau for hints about the missing treasure and break free so you can search the estate and beyond, from the ocean's depths to the Egyptian pyramids. Only after a long journey can you return to settle your debts. Franky is back—featuring new levels and fresh challenges, but act fast... time is slipping away!
