Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu is a role-playing video game and the first Dragon Ball title for the Super Famicom. It was launched exclusively in Japan on January 25, 1992. Super Saiya Densetsu serves as a reimagining that merges two earlier Famicom titles from the Gokuden series: Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyan and Dragon Ball Z II: Gekishin Freeza, but omits the movie characters and anime filler content that were present in the originals.
